Official: Russian cbank to finish banking sector purge by 2018

MOSCOW, Feb 29 (PRIME) -- Russia’s central bank will complete its large-scale purge of the banking sector by 2018, First Deputy Chairman Alexei Simanovsky told reporters on Monday.

“I think that we will cope with this in a couple of years, we were making the main part of the work in 2014 and 2015, we will be working in 2016, maybe, something will be left for 2017,” Simanovsky said.
